Our beautiful Glittery Lao Hmong Hill Tribe Purses have been directly sourced by us from the Hill Tribes in the North of Laos.
We are on a mission to save this beautiful embroidery from dying out by establishing a market for their beautiful work, to this end we went upriver to the North of Laos. In Laos the roads are pretty limited and many of the communities that we visited are only accessible by river.
In their villages high up in the Golden Triangle, we found Hill Tribe Ladies producing beautiful traditional embroidery. Our Glittery Tribal Purses are hand embroidered and each is different, the colours are similar but the designs vary from purse to purse so each is unique
Our Lao Hmong Glittery Hill Tribe Purses measure 130 mm by 110 mm and are lined and fastened with a zip.
